Come curious about hunger right here in our country. A Place at the Table is an immersion experience that includes time for listening, learning, conversation, worship, prayer, and encountering God in new ways as you encounter new people, and yourself! You will leave equipped with the knowledge and skills to take action against hunger in your own community. This event will take place in Louisiana the weekend of April 4-6, 2014. The Disciple Project:

koinoniaA week-long intentionally cross-generational leadership school filled with worship, Bible Study, learning tracks and fun evening events. This training event is open for those in 8th grade through adults who want to grow in any of the following areas: Art, Camp Hope Ministries, Communications, Dance, Leadership, Music, Photography, Preaching, and Sports. People from across the United States will meet up on the campus of Texas Lutheran University the week of June 23 – 27, 2014 for the Disciple Project. More information can be found here.

Peru Trip:

peruA pilgrimage is a search for spiritual significance, a departure from daily life. It is a journey that stretches your worldview and God-view. This is a cross-cultural and cross-generational spiritual experience with a choice of excursions that include intentional relationship building with the Peruvian Lutheran Church, visits to ancient Incan ruins and more. There are a variety of options for this immersion which include; Cusco & Machu Picchu, Iquitos & Amazon Jungle, and Lima. The dates range from July 17 through July 27.
