Faith Together ADVENT: Come Lord Jesus

Celebrating our global partnerships with Peru and the Central African Republic, each week’s study will focus on a line from the familiar table prayer, Come, Lord Jesus.  Join us as we explore what this means in the world today and prepare to celebrate the birth of Jesus.

Designed to allow flexibility for use by families with small children, couples, individuals, older adults and teens, each week will include pieces that can be mixed and matched to meet your own specific needs.  Beginning with a reflection on the weekly theme, there will be poems, hymn suggestions, a scripture passage, table prayer and hands-on global activities provided.

From collecting socks and soup (Week 2:  Let these gifts to us be blessed), to a recipe for fufu, a staple food in the Central African Republic (Week 3: Blessed be God who is our bread), the goal is to provide a variety of experiences that speak to people of all ages.
